킹스턴 대학은 미술/디자인 학부가 명성이 높으며,특히, 일러스트레이션/애니메이션, 영상, 건축이 유명합니다. 일러스트 분야의 경우 영국 대학교 상위권에 속해 있습니다.
학교는 3년제로 일러스트레이션, 애니메이션, 순수미술, 그래픽 디자인, 인테리어 디자인, 공연에술, 산업디자인등 다양한 전공분야를 교육하고 있습니다.
킹스턴 대학은 영국에서도 규모가 큰 캠퍼스 중 하나이며, 한국에서도 킹스턴 출신 한국인들이 많아서 국내 활동이 용이하며, 동문회 활동도 활발하게 이루어지고 있습니다.
